1. How do I download my certificate?
You will need a PDF file reader such as 'Adobe Reader'. Most computers have a PDF reader built in but if this is not the case you can download oneHERE for free on the Internet.
2. What RSA course do I complete if I am travelling around Australia?
When you buy an RSA course - if you choose the 'Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol National Accredited & Queensland OLGR' you will be issued a Nationally Accredited RSA certificate and a OLGR Queensland RSA certificate. This will allow you to work in all Australian states except NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.
3. I need a Northern Territory certificate What do I do?
The Nationally Accredited Certificate that you are issued with the QHI online training course is accepted in the Northern Territory.
4. I need a Queensland RSA certificate what do I do?
If you need a Queensland OLGR RSA certificate check the information below.
QHI are approved trainers of OLGR RSA training.
This online course is approved by the OLGR Queensland. At purchase choose the Queensland OLGR RSA option.

5. I have a QHI Nationally Accredited certificate and need a state one?
Depending on what state or territory that you work in you may need to change your certificate for a certificate that is for your state only.
For instance, Queensland, Victoria and NSW all have state based certificates.
QHI are approved trainers of Queensland OLGR RSA training.
If you have a QHI Nationally Accredited certificate and you wish to have the Queensland OLGR certificate contact us for details stating - CHANGING TO OLGR QLD CERTIFICATE to info@qhint and we will give you further details on how to obtain a OLGR certificate.
QHI are approved trainers of Consumer Affairs Victoria Liquor Licensing training.
If you have a QHI Nationally Accredited certificate and you wish to have the CAV Liquor Licensing certificate contact us for details stating - CHANGING TO VIC LLV CERTIFICATE to info@qhint and we will give you further details on how to apply for your certificate.
QHI are NOT able to deliver RSA training in NSW

6. How long does my course LOGIN last for?
Your LOGIN details will be valid for twelve months from the date of issue.
7. How much does a course cost?

To obtain a Credit Transfer for a unit of competency there is a fee of $15.00.
For a replacement certificate there is a fee of $15.00.
8. Are all the courses Nationally Accredited?
Our online courses are Nationally Accredited although you should check the 'State Requirements' to make sure the course you are purchasing is valid in your state.
Responsible Service of Alcohol Courses have different laws in different states it is advised that you check the 'State Requirement' area of the website and check the laws in the state where you work.
9. How do I pay?
You can pay for the course with your credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) by following the online course payment link on the payment page. You must pay for the course to receive your user ID and password which you will require to LOGIN to the online course. You may also pay via our 'Fax Payment Form' if you don’t want to use our secure payment gateway. Your payment will be processed immediately and your user ID and password emailed to you. If you do not have an email address please be sure to write down your user ID and password as you will need them each time you login.
You can also pay by BPAY®. Go to BPAY on your banking system. Use the Biller Code and Customer Reference Number provided on the booking page to pay the specified amount into our account via BPAY.
Upon receipt of the funds into our account we will email you log in details for the nominated course (This can take up to 2 business days).

Pleae note if you pay by credit card you will be given instant access to the course. If you pay by any other method you will be issued your ID and password after your payment has cleared.
10. Is the course tax deductible?
Yes, Australian citizens and residents who pay tax can claim for all educational courses.
Working Holiday Travellers who have worked in Australia during their stay and have paid tax can also apply for a tax refund before leaving Australia and claim for our courses.
You must keep a copy of your receipt when you pay for the course to be able to make a claim.
11. Does the course fee include GST?
No, GST is not included in Nationally Accredited Training – however GST should be included in prices for non accredited training. QHI programs are written to Nationally Accredited Units of Competence and are therefore GST free.
12. How do I log in to the course?
Once you have paid for the course and received your user ID and password you can log in at any time at www.qhint.com by clicking on the LOGIN button at the top right hand side of the page.
You do not need to complete the course all at once, it will remember where you are up to and save your results.
You can log in and out as many times as you like.
13. How many sections are in each course?
That depends on which course you are completing. The RSA and Food Hygiene courses have eight sections of learning and a short assessment after each one. Once you have completed the eight sections there is a short ten question True/False assessment. This will give you your grading between 80-100%. You only get one go at this part.
14. When do I get my certificate?
On completion of the course you will be able to instantly download a PDF file of your certificate and print it out. You will also be emailed the file.
If you don't have a printer and would like the original posted you can choose this option at enrolment. If you choose this option please allow three days if you are in Australia or ten days if you are overseas for your certificate to arrive.
15. What if I don't have an email address?
We can issue a username and password over the phone. After you have purchased your course the username and password will be shown on your computer screen. You can print them off or write them down for the next time you need to log in.
16. How will I be assessed?
Online students will be assessed on a theoretical basis only, using a variety of online assessment tools. If you have any problems using the online assessment or don’t know the right answer you can email a trainer on info@qhint.com or call 03 9593 9846 during business hours.
You will be asked to answer various questions throughout the course which make up 80% of your assessment. You must get all of these questions correct to access the next question. Don’t worry if you get a question wrong, as you will be given the opportunity to redo the sections you are not yet competent in.
A quick true and false test at the end will make up the other 20% required to complete the assessment and gain competency.

17. What happens if I fail the course?
Don't worry, you won't fail ! With the online courses you cannot go to the next question until you have completed the previous question correctly. It's not as if you have to complete one test at the end. Also there are qualified trainers on hand to help you if you can't answer a question. When completing a course by correspondence, when you have completed the assessment work book and posted it back to us, you may be asked to complete some parts again if your answers were incorrect.
18. What will I receive on completion?
If you have provided all the information needed and your online assessment is complete you will receive a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment, or a Queensland OLGR RSA certificate or both, depending on which option you chose at purchase.
19. Is there a pre-requisite needed for this course?
There are pre-requisites for some courses.
Food Safety Supervisors require their basic hygiene courses to be completed before moving on to the Supervisors course.
If you have completed the pre-requisite course with another company and have a copy of your certificate we would require a copy of that certificate before issuing a Statement of Attainment.

20. Does the course have to be completed in one session?
Once you have been issued your user details you can log out at any time and the system will remember where you are up to. It is recommended that you complete the section you are on before you log out. All notes on the notepad will also be saved by clicking on the Save and Close area at the bottom of the notepad.
The next time you log in you will be taken to the main menu and be able to start again from where you logged off previously.
21. How much time will it take to complete the course?
It should take approximately 4 hours to complete most of the courses from start to finish. Remember it is self paced and if you have knowledge of the industry you may finish quicker. Please read the relevant course documentation for more information.
Also remember you do not need to complete the course all at one time. You can log in and out at your convenience and the system will remember where you were up to when you logged out.
22. Are the courses suitable for flight attendants?
Both the Responsible Service of Alcohol and Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures courses are accepted by airlines hiring cabin crew.
